Madisyn Genender
Madisyn's love for the camera started at a young age when she would make music videos and short films with her brothers. However, her aspirations with the camera began when she took her first video-journalism class in 2021. From there, she volunteered for Colorado Mesa University's television station, worked with the National Parks System, NASA, and other film companies in Grand Junction, Colorado. After receiving her B.A. in Communications in Spring of 2023, she moved to Durango with dreams to continue her passion for filmmaking and photography.
jeff Genender
Jeff is a seasoned software engineer with a sharp eye for detail and a calm, grounded presence behind the camera. As Firgun Films' trusted second shooter, he brings a unique blend of technical precision and creative perspective to every shoot. Whether he’s capturing candid moments from a different angle or helping keep things running smoothly, Jeff’s thoughtful approach ensures nothing gets missed. He’s all about the little moments — the ones that quietly hold all the emotion — and he’s an essential part of telling every story with care and intention.
