I began filming weddings in 2022 while working alongside two established wedding companies in Grand Junction. At the same time, I was earning my degree in Mass Communications with a focus on video production, journalism, and digital storytelling. During my time in school, I worked for the university's television station and took a variety of hands-on courses in documentary filmmaking, film production, audio, and photojournalism — gaining both technical skill and storytelling perspective.

While many in this industry are self-taught, my foundation blends both professional training and real-world experience. I graduated in 2023 with a B.A. in Mass Communications and an Emmy nomination that same spring for a public service piece I directed and filmed. Since then, weddings have become my creative home — a place where all of that experience comes together to tell stories that are raw, emotional, and beautifully real.
